So far, we drove down through a whole lot of states! We went swimming in the pool, the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic ocean. WE collected sea shells at sunrise, saw a mid 1900's mansion, looked for Manatees...what more could we possibly fit into one trip you ask.... well only the best baseball game ever!
Yep we got to see our beloved Nationals in person at their spring training camp/park/stadium...whatever you call it !

For Ron's birthday I let him choose and pay for the tickets to the game! We had really great seats and thankfully it wasn't a blisteringly hot day! It was really neat because you could actually leave the stands and go and sit out in the grass, so by the 6th ining me and the kids were all out there.
It just so happens that the day we went was military day as well. Which was really special for us. They were swearing in a new airforce troop there in the outfield before the game. The boys were wearing their "Florida" hats that day so we had more than a few comments of how we were raising them right, and how proud people were.

Awwwww
We won by the way! it came down to the last batter! But we won! Against the Baltimore Orioles ( who Emily was cheering for.. thanks Em!)
Our little guy practicing his swing with his official spring training cap on!
The kids were so beat after the game that we took them to yet another beach! Coccoa Beach. Home of Ron John's Surf Shop.
Here we are out in the MASIVE waves! We had so much fun! We dove through the waves, swam with the waves, and were generally swept away with the waves for a good hour!

They had to be at least 8- 10 ft waves!
The boys stayed on the beach and built sandcastles!
Ron made it in for the last 15 minutes or so.
