BEACH DAYS!
The cottage is actually located centrally, so we took two days and went to each coast. Tuesday we headed over to Sarasota to visit Siesta keys beach. Made up of quartz sand. On our way we stopped to admire some orange groves!
The girls snorkeling for the first time ever in the Gulf of Mexico!

After the beach we headed over to the Edson Keith Mansion, which was supposed to be a
park ground to show the old native fishing route. But the boys enjoyed to water fountain!

And the girls enjoyed the statues!

And we enjoyed the arbour!
The next morning, and I do mean morning! We headed out at about 5am to go to the other side of Florida to Ft Pierce to go seashell hunting. Apparently this is the beach to be at for sunrise as well! It was incredibly windy, and not a soul was out except us , a fisherman who had set up on the beach, and a wonderful lady from a Northern State.

This picture by picture story telling is great thanks. Looks like you had a great time so far :) Who was the extra girl you took along?--Probably a very smart move!!
glad you had a good trip and made it home safely
Now a little drive down to visit us won't seem all that far will it...hint hint hint :)
Or to visit me!! Actually Patti, while you're enjoying these pictures you should show us about your march break too!!

Bee, I don't think you would fit! We were really squished the whole time!
Emily Brownyn's long time friend came with us( Cari's daughter) and yes it was the best idea by far. Brownyn had someone to play with during nap time, they could go and do big kid stuff while we tended the boys if the need arose!
What did you all do for your March Breaks?
