As we wrapped Christmas gifts last night, we watched the grinch. Which up until last year was considered Too scary for our daughter. This year she could barely tear her eyes away from the movie long enough to wrap a gift!
This christmas classic is a story that tries to defeat the commercialism surrounding Christmas. No mention of God or Jesus or the true meaning of Christmas. Just a nice feel good story. For those of us who are in a relationship with Jesus Christ it reminds us ( well it reminded me at least) to share the love we have with others around us especially this time of year.
We stood and rang the Salvation Army bells this year for 3 hours between all of us. And we felt really good about it. We didn't directly tell people about Jesus but we shared the love of Jesus. And that is what this movie poked me with!
