Being thankful after thanksgiving.
Well here we are now 10 weeks away from Christmas, and already the thankful heart has turned into the greedy grabbies.
This year we are away for christmas and so hoping this will stop the gift grabbing , opps, I mean giving, at Christmas in it's tracks.
With all the minor bumps in the road we deal with day in and day out. With the struggles marriage, and parenting and running a business heap upon us, we can't help but force ourselves to stop often if not daily, to take invoice of the great blessings we have.
To measure our requests against the need or want question.
To check our hearts and spirits frequently to make sure we aren't taking on more than we are able to sacrifice for. Menaing when we take on one thing, we HAVE to let one thing go, or sacrifice that time somewhere, with someone for something or someone else.
If we are so grateful for what we have, how can we begin to imagine asking for more?
Now that the Turkey has been put away ( thanks gramma for the yummy turkey:) let's keep a fresh serving of thankfulness on our hearts.
