Our Night last night!
The storm started around 6, Ron and I headed out to the back porch to watch the sumer storm roll across the lake. Sadly dinner was interupted with the high winds.
And a few falling limbs!
Thankfully the only damage we incured was the back porch railing will need to be replaced.
Others down teh road were not so lucky, one had their roof badly damaged and water was leaking in, and another had an old oak ripped up from the roots and lifted her deck right out of the ground. Something else let me tell you!

Thankfully the only damage we incured was the back porch railing will need to be replaced.However, our road was closed by this fallen tree ( which narrowly missed our van)
Others down teh road were not so lucky, one had their roof badly damaged and water was leaking in, and another had an old oak ripped up from the roots and lifted her deck right out of the ground. Something else let me tell you! Our power went out at 6:30 and came back on sometime after 3am. So the basement is still draining, there was over an inch water at one point in time down there.

Yeah not a thing at our own house. Thankfully we were at my parents house for the night or we wouldn't have known anything until much later!
