A is for Adoption

Adoption has so many meanings to so many people.
Acceptance, Abandonment, Forever, Rejection,
Opportunity, Unanswered, Roots, yet unrooted.
The picture above is a picture of our little 3 year old foster son's hand on mine.
He is getting ready to be adopted.
Actually he isn't, the people around him are trying to get him ready to be adopted.
It means something different to even us as we prepare to graduate him to his forever family.
What does adoption mean to you?

Thank goodness for adoption. My father was adopted into a loving family and he had a wonderful life! I know not all stories are as positive but I love that people are willing to help look after other people's children and raise them as their own. It takes special people to do that. Like you!
