A post for our daughter. Here she is. 11. She has grown into a beautiful young woman. She is thoughtful and courteous and curious. She can still be childlike. Yesterday I was very ill with the flu and so her and her dad went out shopping to give me some peace and quiet. He was so excited when they got home and he was telling me that she held his hand in the mall. Such a small quality but as they get older they just don't do it anymore. So those of you with young ones out there. Cherish holding hands with your kids. She bought me some potted flowers for my garden Which were going to be for mother's day but she was to excited to wait so she gave them to me as a get well gift instead!

She has had so many ups and downs along the way. And so many people out there have loved her so much and so well that I want to say look at her now. Thank you for being part of making such a wonderful child.

It does take a village. Our kids need different people in thier lives. People who are going to teach them that difference isn't bad. That love comes in every shape and size. That God loves everyone. That Jesus came for the lost. That they are loved and precious not only to God but by the the village that surrounds them as well.

Thanks for being part of our Village!
